The Texas miracle is under threat, thanks to Lone Star State's cheapskate ways

In an article published in the Dallas Morning News today Mitchell Schnurman, a business columnist for the newspaper, explored this idea.

My thoughts? The issue is not just the credit rating of the State of Texas, the bigger issue is how to sustain future growth when the underlying infrastructure is being severely underfunded. How are the future needs of education, transportation, water resources and public safety if there is insufficient revenue to cover these expenses?
